I have worked as a professional singer and teacher for over 30 years, and have sung with some of the major opera companies of the world, including the Royal Opera House, La Scala Milan, and the Bayreuth Festival.  

I have lived for periods in London, Glasgow, Liverpool. Prague, Manchester, Cambridge, Oxford, and Germany, and plan to move to sunnier climes. I teach on-line and in person presently in Liverpool.

If you sing solos or in a choir, singing as a professional or as a dedicated amateur, you need a good technique that you can rely on.

Most untrained singers sing on their throat, without proper support. so they often end up with no voice at all. Some teachers teach ‘Can Belto’ which involves shouting (belting) and will lead to damage of the voice.

I teach a singing technique based on the traditional Bel Canto (beautiful voice) Italian technique that’s been tried and tested over hundreds of years.

My pupils range from 11 to 82 years old!
